Straightforward MOT in Grays with Our Own Tester
Keeping You Safe and Road Legal Every Year
Your MOT is the yearly check that your car meets the safety and environmental standards needed to stay on the road. At Essex Motorsport, every MOT in Grays is carried out in-house, with the test completed by our own qualified MOT tester rather than being sent elsewhere.
What the Test Looks At
The MOT focuses on the parts of your car that matter most for safety, including:
Brakes and tyres
Lights, indicators, and the horn
Steering and suspension
Seatbelts, mirrors, and the windscreen
Exhaust emissions
Each item is checked carefully, and once the test is finished, we'll go through the result with you so you know exactly where your car stands.
Clear Advice If Something Needs Attention
If your car fails, we'll explain why in plain terms and tell you what needs to be done to put it right. We'll also run through any advisories, so you can plan for them without feeling pressured. Repairs only go ahead once you've agreed, and you won't be talked into anything that isn't required to pass.
Collection and Delivery to Save You Time
Fitting an MOT into a busy week isn't always easy. Our collection and delivery service means we can pick your car up and bring it back after the test, leaving you free to get on with your day. Ask about it when you book, and we'll explain how it works.
Book Your MOT With Essex Motorsport
You can have your MOT done up to a month (minus a day) before your current certificate runs out and still keep the same renewal date, so there's no need to leave it until the last minute. If you're unsure when yours is due, you can check it on the GOV.UK website. When you're ready, book your MOT online now and we'll get your car in the diary.
